\"\"<\/a>O Produto Interno Bruto (PIB) do Maranh\u00e3o registrou saldo positivo no ano de 2010, com varia\u00e7\u00e3o real de 8,7%. O percentual de crescimento \u00e9 maior que o do Brasil, que registrou 7,5%, e do Nordeste, com 7,2%. Os dados oficiais foram anunciados, nesta sexta-feira (23), pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estat\u00edstica (IBGE) e Instituto Maranhense de Estudos Socioecon\u00f4micos e Cartogr\u00e1ficos (Imesc).<\/p>\n

De acordo com os dados, em 2010, a soma de todas as riquezas produzidas no Maranh\u00e3o, que resulta no PIB, atingiu o valor de R$ 45,256 bilh\u00f5es. A avalia\u00e7\u00e3o dos \u00f3rg\u00e3os \u00e9 que o crescimento foi motivado, principalmente, pelos setores da ind\u00fastria, que apresentou incremento de 18,7%, e do setor de Servi\u00e7os, com 8,0%.<\/p>\n

Pela taxa de varia\u00e7\u00e3o do PIB em 2010, o Maranh\u00e3o ocupa a 12\u00aa posi\u00e7\u00e3o no ranking dos estados que mais cresceram. A maior varia\u00e7\u00e3o do pa\u00eds foi do estado do Tocantins (com 14,2%); a segunda foi a do Esp\u00edrito Santo (13,8%) e a terceira foi a de Rond\u00f4nia (12,6%). Com rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao valor (R$ 45,256 bilh\u00f5es), o Maranh\u00e3o permanece na 16\u00aa posi\u00e7\u00e3o no pa\u00eds, sendo o 4\u00ba no Nordeste.<\/p>\n

Vale destacar que, o PIB do Maranh\u00e3o teve um aumento substancial ao ser comparado com o registrado no per\u00edodo 2009, quando o resultado foi negativo, com um taxa de -1,73%, com o estado ocupando a 23\u00aa coloca\u00e7\u00e3o no pa\u00eds. \u201cEsses n\u00fameros comprovam que o estado est\u00e1 no rumo certo, atraindo novos investimentos, que nos pr\u00f3ximos anos ir\u00e3o elevar ainda mais esse valor do PIB\u201d, observou Marcelo Melo, chefe da Unidade Estadual do IBGE.<\/p>\n

PIB per capita<\/strong><\/p>\n

Entre os dados divulgados pelo IBGE, o PIB per capita foi de R$ 6.889 em 2010, valor mais alto que o registrado em 2009, que foi de R$ 6.259,42. Esse crescimento, por\u00e9m, n\u00e3o foi sentido no c\u00e1lculo final devido ao aumento populacional, que fez com que o estado sa\u00edsse da 26\u00aa para a 27\u00aa posi\u00e7\u00e3o no ranking nacional.<\/p>\n

\u201cO PIB per capita, nada mais \u00e9 que o valor do PIB dividido pela popula\u00e7\u00e3o do estado. E como houve um aumento populacional no Maranh\u00e3o em pouco tempo por causa do movimento de migra\u00e7\u00e3o provocado pela vinda de grandes investimentos para o Maranh\u00e3o, o resultado n\u00e3o foi t\u00e3o positivo\u201d, esclareceu Marcelo Melo.<\/p>\n

Um dado a ser observado, segundo ele, \u00e9 que a popula\u00e7\u00e3o do Nordeste diminuiu em quase -0,95% enquanto a do Maranh\u00e3o cresceu mais de 3,18%, fato creditado a fatores principais como os grandes flagelos e o in\u00edcio do ciclo de grandes empreendimentos se instalando no estado. Para se ter uma ideia, no per\u00edodo entre 2009 e 2010, no Maranh\u00e3o, a popula\u00e7\u00e3o subiu de 6.367.138 para 6.569.683.<\/p>\n

O aumento populacional foi de mais de 202.545, sendo o maior registrado no Nordeste. Na regi\u00e3o, somente outros dois estados tiveram aumento de popula\u00e7\u00e3o, sendo que o segundo colocado nesse ranking \u00e9 Sergipe, com aumento de apenas 48.352 indiv\u00edduos; seguido pelo Rio Grande do Norte, com 30.592 pessoas.<\/p>\n
